The first Illustration of the Town of Novi Sad

The oldest known artistic illustration of the town of Novi Sad was made on guild letters of carpenters and gingerbread makers from 1774. The author of this copperplate print was a famous engraver, painter, writer and calligrapher Zaharije Orfelin (1726–1785).
