The oldest known artistic illustration of the town of Novi Sad was made on guild letters of carpenters and gingerbread makers from 1774. The author of this copperplate print was a famous engraver, painter, writer and calligrapher Zaharije Orfelin (1726–1785).
The exhibited cards present the representative part of rich cultural heritage of Vojvodina. For the first time, the cards, which have arrived to the houses in Vojvodina on different occasions, are presented in one place. They are now kept in the museums, archives and private collections.
